There are alot of good things you can take from both of these discipline and an aweful lot of good fighters started of with a background of Karate! If anyone has taken the discipline and had a good teacher they learned some shit and have respect for it!!!

doesn't matter if it's too stiff you can tell by the arm guards since karate uses a traditional upper guard stance, also the uniform is different from a blackbelt uniform, but as you can see most taekwondo users will recognize his arm guard, which is none.

mma most commonly and correctly refers to a sport. less commonly it refers to a specific hybrid style used to mixed martial artists in cage and ring fights. even less commonly it is used to refer to the mixture of any two or more arts.
no one in mma uses tkd or kung fu because those styles failed miserably in the original nhb and mma tournaments

Yes thats great that they can bend steel or hang rocks from their balls and do amazing things. Can they demonstrate what would happen to a fighter if they fought?! In this video the Monk above was supposedly told not to hit the other fighter... if he can do that then why not tell him hey dont kill the guy with your magical dim mak or better yet dont bite, eye gouge, or attack the penis/ball area...
