I'm 57 and live in Los Angeles. I had the pleasure of not only hearing this rich music, but the pleasure of meeting these brothers at the "Total Experience"...a club back in the day in LA.
I'm glad to see comments from some of the younger generation who have heard and appreciated this music. Regardless of how music changes, LOVE is still LOVE. That's the reason younger listeners can appreciate it. No matter how old or how young we are, our hearts are all the same.

I sampled this song for a nice little hiphop beat. It's on my myspace if anyone's interested. My myspace ID is diamondsinmyweave.
I also do a jungle beat version of Roy Ayers "Everyone Loves The Sunshine"

Whoever arranged this song is one hell of a good arranger.

When this song was in the top forty they played it so much that I ended up hating it!
Now it just brings back fun memories.

Thanks so much for posting this song. I love this song, even though it is so sad. It just really hits home. Great artwork, also... thanks. |
