The reason is because the record label he was with folded before his album was scheduled to drop. He also recorded a rap ballard called Start To Fade with Smokey Robinson singing the hook of his 1984 hit I Can't Find. In fact theres another version of this video where Novel raps and Smokey sings the hook from I Can't Find. Novel is signed to Rowdy Records and sang back up on Lionel Richie's album Coming Home |
