i agree w/ you truhsta. apropos is given to the beatles, but one must keep it in perspective. take away the drugs - would they have created the music they did after '68 or thereabouts? i am not a big fan of their music. i greatly enjoy "paperback writer", but otherwise, i find them dull, and always have.

Ahm, if you were saying that the other band I mentioned, like Zeppelin, Sabbath o Purple, in some way they were influenced, but they created something new, the hard rock is completely different from the "light rock" the Beatles did. maybe not the base, but the "final product" is very different.

well i never saw you mention wes montgomery or frank zappa, they're some o fmy fav artists too! and they are definately not beatles influenced, they are more jazz and original by far! for someone from Argentina i would say thats pretty good english by the way, i don't know a word of portugese! peace

No,isn't bad, i love the beatles too, I obviously i recongnize their influence. But you can't tell me Wes Montgomery was influenced by the Beatles, or Fank Zappa. I'm from Argentina, so...sorry about my bad english. And the MSN makes me to use icons, sorry about that xP

I think wrong? well in that case so does my university lecturer who talked about the beatles influence on pop and rock a few weeks ago, and he has a PHD in this stuff.. im not saying either of us is right or wrong, its just opinion, music is a continum that everyone learns from and adds to. Don't get sour just because someone tells you that the beatles influenced sum of your fav bands, why is that bad? p.s. o.o? if you wanna say somthing just use plain english please. cheers
