Still get a huge charge out of listening to that stewardess try to speak. She deserves obscurity. Can not wait for this Dan Quail with tits to attempt a run in 2012,so we can chase her back to Alaska in a hail of dictionaries, English books and hooked on phonics tapes.

Yeah it shows how out of touch yuppie liberals are with the real state of America. For years the poor were getting shafted in the poop chute by inflation. In the long run, this recession will be most beneficial to not only the poor, but the middle class. Mainly due to deflation. The WEALTHY fear deflation. We'll start saving and producing again. The middle class will get weaned off the credit card addiction. Oh well. Rant mode terminated.

Katie Couric's husband passed away a while back, and she's Jewish, not Protestant/Christian. I absolutely agree with you about the poor though.

While admittedly her answer came out fairly garbled, every point she raised nevertheless fell within the province of the LARGER PICTURE of "job creation," which, according to Palin, is the overriding "umbrella" of which the bailout was a part. The other parts include tax reduction, curbing spending, trade, etc., all of which, along with the bailout, would help middle class families via job creation and pay for healthcare as Katie had mentioned. Thus, Palin answered thoughtfully, albeit nervously

Katie Couric, the typical yuppie liberal WASP, worrying about bailing out the "middle class." What's the matter Katie: Your hubbie can't afford you anymore? Ummm, what about the poor???
